This year's annual Atlanta Street Dance, (we think it's the 23rd) was a roaring success.  The weather cooperated perfectly with clear skies and slightly cooler temperatures, creating perfect conditions for the pie and ice cream social benefitting the Atlanta Fire Department and a little later, dancing in the street to the strains of standards and jazz numbers provided by the Band.  Attendance seemed to be close to record levels, estimated at 250 - 300.  Hard to tell with so many people moving around and all of the kids having a grand time being in three places at the same tim

Roberta reported a serious situation at the Atlanta Music Hall this weekend - it seems that there was no john, and things were pretty hopeless.  Further clarification, however, made it obvious that she was speaking of the absence of John and Hope, which did not create a crisis.
